VANTIL

Privacy

What we collect, and what we do not.

Plain summary. Last updated October 2026.

This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties. Our hosting and network provider (Cloudflare) processes ordinary connection data, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. We do not store IP addresses ourselves. To limit abuse we keep only a keyed one-way hash of the connection address, in a separate table from the form data, for about a day.

The interest form

If you use the form we store the name and email address you type, your optional message, and the time you sent it. Nothing else goes with it: no IP address, device identifier or tracking data. We use it only to share progress on VANTIL and to ask whether you would like to take part in future testing. We do not sell it or share it.

Keeping and removing your details

Submissions are kept in a private database that only the VANTIL owner can open. They are not available through any public page. To have your details deleted, submit the form again with the message "please delete my details" and the same email address. A person reads these and removes the entry by hand; it is not automatic, so allow some days.

Accounts for people taking part in testing

Some people are invited to a protected area at app.vantilsystems.com. For an account we store your email address, a one-way verifier derived from your password (the password itself is prepared in your browser and never sent to us), an encrypted authenticator secret, recovery-code hashes, and sign-in times. Sessions use a secure cookie that is needed to keep you signed in; it does not track you across sites. You can sign out at any time.

Readings from the prototype

The prototype's sensor readings are stored in a private system and are not published on this site. Any view of them offered to a participant is shown only to that participant's account.

Not a commercial offer

VANTIL is an engineering prototype. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell a product, and VANTIL is not a medical device.
